I purchased three of these books for my grandchildren. They are beautiful. Their ages are 8, 7, and 6. The binding is beautiful and looks like something from a fancy library. The pictures fill the page and are beautiful with the right amount of information about each animal. I fell in love with this book the first time I saw it. I have shown it to many and I am sure they purchased it also.
You cannot go wrong with this book, no matter the age. And I LOVE that it has a "visual guide" so that young children who are not reading yet can still identify the animal in the back of the book and help with finding the correct page. The quality is superb; the gold-edged pages make it very special. When it's time to choose books in the evening to read before bedtime, this one is almost always chosen.
I bought two, one for each of my preschool grandchildren. It is a gorgeous book inside and out. Chock-full of fascinating information, excellent photography and art, it has become a favorite book for both children.
Beautiful book with beautiful pictures and large easy to read print for you readers. Wish I knew why they organized the table of contents they way they did though.
Absolutely beautiful.Bright and colorful, well made. Was a great secret santa gift for a co worker who loves books and has a 3 yr old who loves them too. He asks for it to be read to him every night. Well worth the money!
This is a lovely book with beautiful illustrations and clear, easy to understand text about each animal.
Beautiful book. Short, educational one page descriptions with large detailed photos.
The pages in this book are beautiful and the facts are so interesting! But we’ve bought two of this book (one from the boom store and one from amazon) and the binding is terrible. One ripped and we returned it and the other is about to do the same thing.
