This manual is one of the best SAS guides I have studied. I have many other SAS texts, but this one goes into great detail and is easy to read and understand. Since so much of data analytics is manipulating categorical data, this text is for sure my new go-to guide for handling categorical data.Highly recommend.

This is a complete treatise on the topic of categorical data analysis, and all the SAS code you need, clearly written to perform these analyses
Easy to read language. Definitely a wonderful book. The electronic version is nice. The highlight handling for functions and formulas is nice.
The "Koch-book" -- as it is fondly known at UNC -- is a must have for the researcher who conducts analysis of categorical data. Its unique combination of extensive SAS code and relevant background and theory information makes it indispensable. As a professor, I've found this book to be the most-lent (and least-returned!) book in my collection. After going through 4 copies of the 2nd edition, I'm happy to upgrade to edition #3...we'll see how long it is before my first copy is permanently borrowed (maybe I should buy two...).
