the condition it came in and when it came was terriffic. The book itself is just what I have been looking for it is very informative. It gives a good prespective on things.
There are many good books on Native spirituality, and many less good as well. This is a good one, but what I especially value is that it presents indigenous knowledge and interaction with Nature as science. We should get used to thinking of science as incorporating: (1) empirical experience, (2) logic/mathematics, (3) experimental research, (4) intuitive insight, and (5) visionary experience, and perhaps other methods I don't know about. Books like this should be required reading for anyone aspiring to be a "scientist" in any culture.
