I really liked this book, even though it wasn’t what I expected. I wanted something that would kickstart my time with God in the morning, and it definitely did that! But it also opened me up to me, who I am in God, and to God. The timing was no coincidence. I’ve pretty much been beaten down professionally/personally for most of the last three years and I’d come to a place of deep regret and sadness. Not knowing where I was going in life, not having any hope. But these devotions have helped reconnect me with a God who is for me, who has a plan, who doesn’t want me to live in yesterdays, but to have hope for today and tomorrow and to trust Him. I can definitely see Him orchestrating my life, and asking more of me in the faith department, and these devotionals have helped so much! I’ll be starting at th beginning and doing them again :)
This is one of the best devotional books I've added to my collection. I begin my day with prayer and a cup of coffee while reading the daily devotional from Jesus and Coffee. Love how the author has interspersed his personal stories throughout each day along with scriptures that lead me to my Bible to read up. Like the many times you re-read the Bible time after time and something suddenly pops off the page that you've missed, so it is with this devotional book. Every day as I re-read them there is always something that pops off the page or hits home with what is happening in my life or around me. You cannot go wrong with adding this inspirational book to your walk with God.
I can definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to grow in their spiritual walk with GOD. This devotional is one of the best additions to my collections in a long while. I really enjoyed how the author complimented the inspirational and teaching verses with real life stories and practical examples to live by. Even though this was outlined for a day-by-day spiritual journey, I found the passages so helpful that I read through the book in just one day :-). I look forward to meditating on each of these teachings in my daily walk. Thank you Tony Warrick for writing such a gem!
Such a wonderful little book! The perfect daily read to get your mind on the right track for the day and help put God in every morning. Easy read and the perfect length, tune in for a few minutes if time is limited or research and expand on the days topic if time permits. I loved this little book and hope that Mr. Warrick adds more books like this in the future.
This was one of the best devotional book I had read by far. It's filled with 30 days of pure encouragement. It was so hard not to continue reading the entire book in one day. This tiny book but yet powerful was filled with so many wonderful insights and Mr. Warrick life experiences that it made it relatable. I can't wait for his 2nd book. With that being said I would share a few quotes from his book "Your greatness is never by chance, it is the result of God's love." "When your dreams are greater than those little excuses, your dreams will become real and success will follow."
Jesus and Coffee is more than a devotional to indulge in while sipping your morning coffee, it's impact can be felt throughout your day regardless of when you read it.This book was an insightful 30 day journey that ordered my steps toward Jesus in way that strengthened my walk and made the way clear for the purpose God has for my life. Don't just fill you coffee cup up but fill your heart with a copy of this book.
It's the best book ever, I feel like God was talking to me personally and helping me with my problems I'm going to keep reading every day till I have it in my memory thank you for a wonderful book.
Love this devotional. It is just the right length for someone who is both looking for a "microwave style devotional" and not too long for those with a busy schedule. Especially the "sugar and cream" nuggets at the end
