This book contains, as the name implies, 2,548 quotes which the author judges to be the "best." Most of them are definitely very good, but my father came up with a few that I would rate in the "best" category (like "I'm not near as strong as I used to be--and I never was.") and I didn't find any of his sayings in this book ...While we are on the subject of inclusions, how in the world was someone able to come up with 2,548 quotes in the first place? I am impressed!One of the things I love about this book is that I can open it anywhere, read one or two quotations, close the book and feel complete. I have so many books laying around that I was reading, got distracted, then never got back to them. These create burdens of in-completion. I'd recommend taking this one to waiting rooms. Every page is amusing and compelling, and also a great stopping place.As an aside, one thing that I have been fascinated with is the occurrence of 'spontaneous themes.' As friends pick up the book and leaf through it, they each seem to attract a theme that carries through on each page. One person will seemingly only see the 'school' related items--another sees death, etc. It happened to me at first also. For a few hours I got the impression that most of the book was about sex. I wonder if Sigmund Freud had any ideas about that ...

I've loved this book for years and have given it for gifts. I decided I needed my own copy. Some quotes are thought provoking and some are downright funny. Great gift and great to have on hand for a quick read when there isn't time to delve into a novel.

This book makes me laugh so hard my face hurts.I especially like how the author puts quotes in a certain order that makes them even funnier.I got mine at a local bookstore, and bought another one on here for my dad because he almost broke his face laughing when he was reading my copy, and wanted to steal it.Awesome coffee table book.

I picked this off the shelf in a bookstore and couldn't put it down. There are so many interesting, funny and just plain strange quotes that it kept me going back to it time and time again. This is the book I wished I had when I started my career as a product manager. Intellectual property law matters a lot to product success. I took a class in b-school on the topic with a crazy thick text book, attended numerous professional talks, and searched the internet many times for easy to understand articles on this topic. But this is the best by far. Chris hits a homerun distilling the complex topic of intellectual property into 8 easy to read chapters that are easy skim to find what you need and all in language a lay reader can understand. Chris's new book is now my go to desk reference on the topic.

This is a quirky little book that doesn't take itself too seriously while delivering a great amount of information in an efficient manner. It covers the basics of the five archetypes of intellectual property (utility patents, design patents, plant patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets). I recommend this as the first book any new business owner reads to understand their rights and responsibilities when bringing their intellectual property to market. Second-person narrative is a bold choice for a technical book like this.

At last! Solid information about Intellectual Property written by a practicing Attorney – in plain language that I can actually understand and use! How refreshing. Thumbs up!After a 'conversational' set-up, the book begins with PATENTS and informs us about the three flavors: Utility, Design, and Plant (who knew?). Author / Attorney Chris Weiss describes what each of these is, what they protect, and in general, when to consider using each of them. He includes an overview of the filing process and broad guidance on the timelines for each. Again, Chris describes what they are, when they should be used, and how to file with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) to perfect your claim. I am only half way through the third compendium, but I read the first and second and loved almost every page of them. I hate to give Kirkman too much credit, mostly because I'm jealous that he seems to be able to wake up and crank out entertaining material. If you're an old-school comics fan like me, Invincible has the feel of the way comics used to capture continuity and is a mesh of classic and recognizable characters and references from comics' and 80s and 90s pop culture. Not to give away spoilers, but the premise is basically if Peter Parker woke up to find that he was Superman, and then what's an average guy going to do with that power, especially as he enters new phases of life. Good writing and some of the best art around (mostly) (Ryan Ottley is amazing). Invincible is a refreshingly not-dark approach to superhero storytelling that may not bend your mind, but is a fun, easy-on-the-eyes throwback.

Engaging...what comics should be. I did not want this to end....and the ending delivered. Wow and thank you to who all made this series happen- BRAVO, BRAVOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Fantastic...i take knee to you Mr. Kirkman and The Artist who got under my skin and gave me visceral goosbumps! Thank you all for a absolutely engaging ride. ~Sniffle~

I would highly recommend this if anyone want to complete their collection without having to spend too much money. It is the best option if you don't have enough money for the hard cover collection. But, there are no extras included. Everything about this book is great! The only problem is that the book is so thick that it can be a little uncomfortable to hold sometimes.

Amazing. Just amazing. If you are reading this, then you probably already know how great this comic is. Sooooooo, I will just say that the encyclopedia sized comic came in mint condition, well priced, and shipped quickly.

Such a fantastic series. This is R rated, it has violence and nudity so parents beware. A great graphic novel with a riveting story line and eye popping illustratations

This is my favorite series of all time. If you are looking to read through this series and not break the bank this is the way to do it! The quality of the book isnt great but it will definately get the job done! Buy these 3 compendiums and read this series! You wont regret it!
