About the Author

Cynthia Cooper, MFA, MA, OTR/L, CHT, is a clinician, author, researcher, and educator. She has practiced hand therapy for over 36 years and has published chapters in numerous hand therapy and occupational therapy textbooks and journals. Ms. Cooper is an active charter member of the American Society of Hand Therapy (ASHT), and she has presented numerous times at national and international meetings of occupational therapy and hand therapy organizations. She has won several awards including ASHT's Best Scientific Paper Award, ASHT's Best Poster Award, AOTA's Service Award, and the ArizOTA Dennis Krenek Volunteer Service Award. She was an invited overseas guest speaker for the Hong Kong Society for Hand Therapists and the Hong Kong Society for Surgery of the Hand in 2015. She was selected by ASSH to participate in a volunteer trip for hand surgeons and hand therapists to La Paz, Bolivia, in 2015 and has been selected by AAHS to participate in a volunteer trip to Ghana, Africa, in 2017.

This provides a very comprehensive understanding of hand therapy. This has help me during my fieldwork rotation.

Great textbook for students/practitioners looking to expand their knowledge and specialize in UE rehab/splinting

Great text with helpful illustrations and tips. Clearly written, enjoyable to read. Useful for new and seasoned as well. I started practicing Hand Therapy in 1984, took a break for about 10 years, went back just over a year ago. Unfortunately let my certification lapse. Bought this to help me prepare to re-take the CHT exam, and as an aid in teaching a new graduate. I'm very pleased with my choice. The online resources are not as extensive as I hoped, but are useful for visual learners.

I found this book to be incredibility useful. I am a recent OTA graduate hired on for a OTR/L CHT (hand therapist). This book brought me up to speed and ready to start working. I will probably keep this book as a good reference for many years.

I love this book!!. It has a lot of information in a clear way to easy understand. Also anatomy was easy to enjoy :). Examples and pictures help a lot to understand most of the concepts.

Ok compilation of the UCC and Res2 of contracts; you could perhaps find them online or through weslaw/Lexis electronically though.

Allowed to use during final exam!

I don't know how to review this! What a pain this was to read for contracts, which is challenging enough as it is! The language is terrible and beyond confusing. Even my contracts professor who identifies as a contract scholar who has clerked for Posner says these are written poorly for their purpose.Like I said, I don't know how this is to be reviewed. It's not as if I had a choice in buying this text for enjoyment. I had to buy it and I had to read it, whether I liked it or not. If you're looking for something to supplement your understanding of contracts I wouldn't recommend this unless you have legal experience. Or love to read extremely complicated texts. For for the poor souls in law school, this is a must for contracts class.

Condition as described. Very helpful for my Contracts class.

It has the restatement (second), UCC, lots of stuff. Don't buy a newer edition. They're all the same.

This is not the newest edition, but if you able to get an older edition, this one works great! My professor actually uses the 2012 edition, and I have had no problems with my edition corresponding with his! It arrived in a timely manner and was in great condition for a used text book!

Good for a comprehensive study of Restatement & UCC Article 2. However, it is not as helpful for the study of other UCC sections such as secured transactions and payment systems as these sections are significantly redacted in this book. I attempted to use it for my negotiable instruments/payment systems and secured transactions classes and found that is was missing many essential code sections in Article 9 and Articles 3.

Your prof will say if you need it and it will live up to the expectations of the class. There are q&a's throughout that my prof used so that was useful.

What a gem! It's both a cookbook and a history book of the restaurant and the later-Victorian to Edwardian era dining scene in New York. It's well written, well articulated, it flows, tells a story with just enough background and back-story to keep you turning the pages. Besides that, the recipes have been updated and are each well explained. And if that is not enough...the book is simply beautiful and will be just as admired on your coffee table as it will be appreciated in the kitchen.

The book was very historic and lovely, but it was obviously OLD. It had a musty odor and even a note written inside to the 'new iron chef'. not happy.

I did not see any other books listed that I thought fulfilled my need. I was more than pleased when I received the book. A superlative book ... I wish a time machine could take me back to the restaurant's heyday. Many wonderful recipes, and a picture, too, of the Delmonico Ribeye steak, which gets the taste-buds going. I can absolutely recommend this book; I certainly intend to have a go at some of the recipes. A lovely book. Everyone should have a copy.
