This is a really cool book for any Harley lover......and I gave it as a gift and the person who received it was most pleased.....I suggest it to anyone who loves their Harleys and perhaps those who wish for one as it has so much information and history in here. I just glanced at it as I am not into cycles so much, other than loving a ride on one once in awhile...but it looked really like a great book.

Good history but not much on sidecars.

Purchased for a friend- as gift- very surprised at the hard cover (couldn’t find that detail in description) well worth price paid- informative and tons of photos!

I gave it to my motorhead boyfriend and he couldn't stop reading it. The pics are amazing and the info for someone who enjoys bikesis so great! It was the Perfect gift. I think he loves me more now!

This book has absolutely nothing to do with psychology. If you are looking for scholarly work on how color impacts psychology or reasoning or emotion etc... This is not the book you want. If you do want nonsense wrapped in woo, then yes this book is for you. Absolute garbage. This author has essentially made a career out of convincing people of her ridiculous and unscientific ideas. I don't ever write reviews. But I feel like I just got my pocket picked. As a marketing professional, I thought I was getting a book on color psychology. I didn't think I was going to have to burn sage and join a drum circle to appreciate this garbage. The title is fraudulent. The content is completely unscientific. Just can't say enough negative things about this con artist or the drivel packaged as psychology.

I was mistaken in ordering the English version without the original Greek text. However, reading the text in translation now, I could recommend it as reflective, sensible translation with a certain weight. But it is not my idea of "Ajax". Ajax is a mad, tragic cry for help. The main character is going through a war trauma. The beauty of some lines should be so painful, and not resembling a discussion or argument in court.Great series of texts though.

There are not too many good translations of Sophocles's other 4 miscellaneous plays. The 2 other main versions are by Lattimore, and by Watling.I find the Lattimore too stiff and archaic, and the Watling stuffy and congested :(This one translated by great stage director Peter Meineck (on the excellent Hackett label) re-defines the art of translation in this edition! He blows the many other translations out of the water by his lucid, powerful, believable and beautiful version. I love his lines, the words he chooses, and the way he puts them all together.I actually can see it happening before me, whereas in other versions, it's more like history and a "good read".Perfect for the acting student, stage director and lover of ancient wisdom!
